Animana Release Highlights: Version 4.13

This version of Animana contains several bug fixes, security improvements, and behind the scenes enhancements. It also includes the following changes:

IMPROVED: Client Portal layout and functionality

Animana’s Client Portal is an invaluable tool for livestock practices to share relevant information with farmers. We have now given it a facelift with an improved design with more intuitive navigation. Here’s a summary of a few of the changes;

• Self-service Password – Clients can now reset their password themselves without needing to contacting you.
• Improved, Intuitive Navigation – The new design makes navigation more natural, and it’s now quicker to find the information needed,
• Better Logbook Content – The logbook now matches the format and content that you have in Animana, giving clients all the information at their fingertips.
• New Overview – After login, clients will now see an overview screen rather than having to select a herd first.

NEW: IDEXX Bile acids test now available

We have added the Catalyst Bile acids test to the “In-Clinic Analysis” test list in Animana. This test is available for the Catalyst Dx and Catalyst One analysers, just click the “In-Clinic Analysis” button in a patient file, select your Catalyst Dx or Catalyst One analyser, and choose the “Catalyst Bile acids” test.

IMPORTANT: VetEnvoy no longer supports Pet Protect for eClaims

The insurance company Pet Protect is no supported by the eClaims insurance platform, VetEnvoy. This means Pet Protect insurance forms can no longer be processed and submitted as a eClaim through Animana. New insurance claims to Pet Protect can still be processed via Animana as a manual insurance claim. Click here to find out more.

Any existing or open eClaims which you have already submitted to Pet Protect via Animana and VetEnvoy, will now need to be followed up directly with Pet Protect as a manual claim. To find out how to view all insurance claims, click here.
