Animana Release Highlights: Version 5.0
This version of Animana contains several bug fixes, security improvements, and behind the scenes enhancements. It also includes the following changes:
Required fields when creating a new contact
Data quality is a critical area focus for Animana development. The benefits of valid information can directly improve workload efficiency, client communication, and improve patient health outcomes.
To improve the quality of your data, you’ll now see that some fields are now required when you create new contacts. These fields include; contact type, first name and surname (or a company name), street, city, postcode (except in Ireland) and country. Depending on your settings – the “Client Recruitment” field and “Email Address” may also be mandatory.
For further information, please see our knowledge base article here.
In the future, we’re also looking at improving this further with a series of improvements including phone number management and email validation.
Added Application Programming Interface (API) capabilities
The Animana API makes it possible for other programs to interact with each other. We’re continually working on our API to enhance the capabilities to securely exchange data between Animana and other applications, allowing us to work with other partners. In this release, we are adding more data points for external parties to access from Animana.
