Animana Release Highlights: Version 6.8
This version of Animana contains several bug fixes, security improvements, and behind-the-scenes enhancements. It also includes the following changes:
Share product information sheets with customers
Animana now provides an easy way to share product information sheets with customers via QR codes. This not only helps you to comply with the regulations but also provides a great way to ensure customers see accurate information.
There are two ways you can add a product information sheet URL:
- via a product’s edit screen (extra > products > products > [product] > label)
- via bulk edit products (extra > products > edit products> dropdown: label)
If a product has a URL associated, a QR code will automatically be printed as a second label. Customers can then use their phones to scan the QR code and be taken straight to the website.
Patient euthanasia improvements
There are a few ways to mark a patient as euthanised or inactive in Animana;
- automatically via adding a euthanasia product (defined in extra > products> products > [select product] > Product Info tab > Euthanasia),
- adding a “died on” date to the Patient Data tab,
- marking a patient as “active=no” in the Patient Data tab.
New in this version, all of the above methods will now provide an option to delete future appointments for that patient (if the patient has appointments).
To see which appointments will be removed, you can download the PDF report from the pop-up window.
Additionally, depending on the method, on save, the patient will be set to “active=no”, and marked with the status “euthanasia. The following table summarises the workflows:
Easier printing of patient weight graphs
Due to feedback, we’ve fixed an issue with printing patient weight. In this version of Animana, the graph can now be printed simply through your web browser. Just choose File> print (or press CTRL+P).
