Animana Release Highlights: Version 8.2

This version of Animana contains several bug fixes, security improvements, and behind-the-scenes enhancements. It also includes the following changes:

Enhanced security when sharing your agenda

We’ve made synchronising your agenda data is more secure, however, the change requires you to re-enter your credentials. Please make sure you follow the steps below to resume synchronisation.

  1. Click the green arrows next to the “CalDAV Password” field. A secure password will be generated and copied to your clipboard.
  2. Enter this password into your Calendar application. Your username is your Animana User ID.
  3. Click the “Save” button in Animana.

Note: after clicking Save, Animana will hide your CalDAV password – there is no way to retrieve this – so instead, repeat the process above to re-generate the password.

Automatically log in to your chosen location

We’re excited to introduce functionality that allows you to set your default location. Once set, you’ll be automatically logged in to that location the next time. Set this up in Settings> User Settings> User Data, or click here to go there now.

Log out from Animana with a simple shortcut key

You can now log out of Animana by pressing Alt+L (Windows) or ⌥+L (Mac).

Added Rwanda to the country drop-down list

Rwanda is now an option when creating a new contact or adding/editing addresses in Client Data, enabling you to invoice pet owners abroad correctly.

IDEXX Catalyst Pancreatic Lipase Test

The Pancreatic Lipase Test is now available for IDEXX In-Clinic Analysis with Catalyst One and Catalyst DX analysers.

Policy Expert now available as an insurance company

Policy Expert is now selectable from the patient data screen, and electronic claims can be submitted via Animana eClaims.
