How we’re making Animana better for you – October 2020 update
Making changes to software takes time, some more than others. Complex features often require months of development before they are ready to see the light of day. To ensure you don’t have to wait a long time for new functionality in Animana, we tend to work on small improvements at the same time as larger new features. This allows us to provide you with incremental enhancements regularly.

Ensure you identify the scheduled vet faster than ever
Is it hard to see who’s who when booking an appointment? With our upcoming tool tip development, you’ll be able to see which user is scheduled in an appointment column by hovering your mouse over the colour bar. This will help speed up the appointment booking and prevent bookings with the wrong nurse or veterinarian.
Save time with IDEXX SmartFlow: documents and images to be viewable in the Animana patient file
The patient file in Animana is the one place to get an accurate and complete patient history. With this latest enhancement, all SmartFlow documents and images will automatically be available in the patient file. We’re also enhancing the patient file view, to make it easier to find SmartFlow files. These two enhancements will save administration time and reduce the time spent assessing patient history during a consultation, leaving you with more time to take care of your patients.
